It was announced last night at the CTV Upfront 2008 Fall Schedule held at The Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts that this will be the last season of Corner Gas. Brent Butt, the creator of Corner Gas has been commissioned to create a new comedy pilot for the network. On a happier note, it was also announced that "Flashpoint" and "The Listener" will be the first Canadian series since Due South to air simultaneously in prime-time in both Canada and the U.S..
